We are still here….

I know, I know…you don’t have to say it.  I don’t have any excuses, I just have been so tired.  I have started a new workout schedule and it is killing me.  I swear, now that I have committed to it, I don’t have much extra time and I have to admit, my blog has taken the toll and I apologize. 

Gracie has been doing fabulous.  We are sure continuing on our “Terrible Two” path.  But no matter how much she pulls that card, there is always a funny story to follow it. She is so smart and learning so much at school.  Tonight she matched her Princess shoes to the Princesses on her towel.  I couldn’t believe it.  She is also starting to count with her fingers too. 

We are also in full swing preparing for our big trip next week.  It is a week from tomorrow that we are leaving for Jamaica.  I think I have everything prepared…sort of.  I only have a couple more things I need to pick up to keep Gracie busy on the plane.  I am hoping she is tired enough to sleep a lot, but then I also have to remember the 1 1/2 ride to the resort.  But either way we are going to be good because I refuse to not stay positive!  I haven’t gotten a thing packed but I have lists every where!

Other then that nothing really has been going on.  We are still hanging in there counting down the days for vacation!  Here are some pictures I took over the week…I haven’t even been picking up the camera a whole lot either!  Have a happy Monday!

Gracie’s hair is getting so long.  I always wanted to have a little girl with curly hair….do you think I am going to get my wish?

Fun at the pool!  We have been keeping up with our weekly Thursday Family Swim day’s…Gracie loves it.  She has no fear of water!

Word of advice….don’t let your two year old have crayons in the car, the car seat becomes a canvas!

Gracie played in this box for at least an hour!  Too bad I couldn’t take it with me on the plane!!!

Playing outside is Gracie’s favorite thing…Gracie was so upset that she couldn’t finish her “happy faces” with sidewalk chalk, she was trying to figure out how to get out the doggy door.

  

How cute are these glasses….too bad they only lasted a day!  I took this picture on the way out the door to school earlier this week…can you tell she doesn’t like getting up at 5:30 am?  Like mother, like daughter!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Grandma’s and Aunt’s and Auntie’s!  Gracie loves all of you very much!  She sends her love from here to there!!!!
