Christmas Festivities

We had our first Christmas function this weekend at my office.  I was actually the “spear header” for this event, which meant I had a lot of stuff to do this last week at work.  The Christmas party was for the munchkins at work.  It was a lot of fun.  Gracie had a really good time and even got to reconnect with a new friend she made last week at her birthday party.  I wasn’t able to get a lot of pictures considering my battery died on top of running here, there, and everywhere!

I realized looking back over the last few posts I haven’t really talked a whole lot about Miss Gracie.  So let me give you a couple of her new favorite things:

• Her vocab has exploded.  She is talking almost non-stop.  She learns new words and retains them. 
• Our new favorite thing is when you tell her “I love you Gracie” she responds back “I love you, Mommy (or Daddy)”
• She is really getting into pretend play.  She is still all about her dolls but she loves to dress up too.  She wears her dress up shoes a lot.
• She can count up to 3 and repeats all the way up to 10.
• She loves school, as a matter of fact, gets sad when she has to leave.
• We are getting ready to hit potty training more.  She is starting to take off her diaper and pants a lot.
• She is about to get a rude awakening with the pacifier…it is time to work on getting ready rid of it.  I will keep you posted on how that goes.

Well, it is another starting of a work week.  It seems like time is flying by.  I am already looking forward to the weekend!  Is it Friday yet?
