21 Months

Another month is gone and our girl is 21 Months Old!  She continues to get bigger and bigger (and a little to big for her britches is you ask me!)  Each and every day that goes by, she seems to learn or do something new.  For example, today she, as inappropriate as this may be, showed us where her bottom was.  Now I realize that may not be as exciting as some of the other things she learns, but that was a new thing today. :)

She is still growing like a weed.  I noticed that her shoes I got her a couple of weeks ago that were a smidgen to big are now just right.  Gracie loves puppies.  Every animal is a puppy.  It doesn’t matter if it is a cat, horse, hippo, or whatever, it is a puppy until we tell her differently.  She loves her Harley bike.  She will sit on it then say “vroom, vroom.”  Gracie is also loving her daddy is home.  She calls for him all the time if he is in the other room or hasn’t made it home.  It’s so cute.

We have had a good weekend so far with the exception of car troubles, let’s just say that 2 out of the 4 modes of transportation we have are having issues.  Friday Matt and I spent the day together while Gracie was at school.  It was nice to have a little couple time.  I am thinking we might have to take a better advantage of that.  With us not having any family close, it is hard for us to find the time. 

Today, we met up with our friend Rob, and headed up to Las Cruces for lunch.  The boys rode their bikes and Gracie and I followed in the “Support Utility Vehicle” (that is what we call the Escape when the baby is with us.)  It was a great ride up there, it was so green.  El Paso has been drier then normal this year so we have less green.  Let me tell ya, when there isn’t much green to begin with, you can tell the difference.

Well, I will leave you with pictures from the last couple of days.  Most of them are of Gracie playing outside…she loves to be outside!

Gracie loves to go for walks. It has gotten to be in our daily routine to take the dogs too.  Well, Harley gets tired out so we usually put her with Gracie in the stroller which they both love!

I obviously dressed my child because she isn’t old enough to do it herself, but she is already starting to tell me what she wants to wear.  She found this shirt that I had set aside to treat it with stain remover and she just wouldn’t stop saying please or “pees” until I put it on her.   So she has this cute little dress on with a shirt over it….she is such a silly girl!
